Unlike the Therapod, the Chiropod employs a rigid shell manufactured in Europe from 12mm laminated plywood with non adjustable pre-tensioned strapping.

The back is covered with thick V rated polyurethane foam to provide comfort and support. Available as a high back, there is the option of a height and angle adjustable upholstered headrest.
