Even in sitting and sleeping our muscles and joints change positions so that we are able to lubricate our joints and use our muscles as pumpls to send blood and nutrients to various parts of our bodies. 

When we do not move, this pump slows down and our joints go into disfunction.

Dynamic seating is a term coined to describe the ability of the chair to move with the user. 

This is a very important feature as it allows the user of the chair to maintain the constant movement of the human body. 

Up until the development of the Therapod Seating System, most chairs had been rigid or semi dynamic.  They move back and forward however the body moves in a three dimensional way.
